I'm in my final term of university, so I'm busy looking for a job. If you've been following me for a while you might remember me doing an internship at a literary agency last summer, or my stint at Oxford University Press. They were great experiences and I've got a few more placements lined up for this summer, but I'm hoping to find some paid work before too long. I'm busying myself applying for jobs etc. and am hoping to go to at least some of the London Book Fair again this year (I won't get to much of it as I'm on a work experience placement that week...).
My classes this term are Revenge Tragedy, and Poetry after Modernism. I love Revenge, I hate Poetry. But I keep telling myself that I've only got two more assignments to hand in before I graduate in July! And, even better, I finish all my classes at the start of April, meaning that, by then, I'll be all done with my university commitments and ready to make my way out into the big wide world...
I probably won't be on this site all that much. I've been a member for five years, that's a long time. I'm not writing much anymore, but if you particularly want to keep in touch I've got a blog [link] and a twitter account (@ek_smith) so you can follow me on there if you like
I miss you guys, and I'm not going to say I'll never be back on the site, but it's true - my updates are few and far between these days...
I'll talk to you later, perhaps.
x
